K&P Tax Consulting, based in Bolzano and Milan, is an independent Firm of highly-qualified professionals with excellent language skills, specialized in tax and corporate law as well as audit activities. Our ambition is to work in the client’s best interest and to offer them an interdisciplinary, customized, integrated and innovative professional advisory services with a 360° assistance.

Partner

Astrid Kofler - Partner

Astrid Kofler is the founding partner of K&P Tax Consulting and leads the International Tax and Transfer Pricing Department of the Firm. She is registered in the Milan Chamber of Tax Advisors and CPAs and the Statutory Auditor roll within the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). Astrid is responsible for the Milan office of the Firm and speaks 4 languages. In 2016 Astrid has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of ABD Airport SpA.

In 2001, after having achieved the academic degree in Business Administration (Specialization in Tax and Corporate Law) with distinction from Verona University, Astrid started her professional training within the Italian Tax and Law Firm Bureau Plattner and spent several years abroad, working for the International Tax and Law Firm Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz in Germany and Hungary. Astrid has been also International Tax Senior Manager for Ernst & Young and was based in the Milan offices for 7 years.

Astrid holds a Master in Tax Law and an Executive Master for members of Board of Directors and Statutory Auditors from the Il Sole 24 Ore Business School in Milan and attended the Woman Leadership Program at Cranfield School of Management (UK).

Astrid has broad experience in coordinating cross border projects and regularly assists US clients with US GAAP accounting for income tax reporting purposes. Thanks to her interdisciplinary and international professional she assists different kind of clients - from local SMEs over unlisted companies to listed international groups, belonging to different branches, as well as public companies.

Karl Plattner - Partner

Karl Plattner, founding partner at K&P Tax Consulting, leads the Corporate Finance area of the Firm. Karl is registered in the Bolzano Chamber of Tax Advisors and CPAs and the Statutory Auditor roll within the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). He is responsible for the Bolzano office of the Firm and is fluent in Italian, German and English.

Plattner graduated in Business Administration at the University of Verona, with a one-year stay abroad at the Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. Prior to his training as a tax consultant and auditor Karl worked for three years in the management of an industrial company in the food industry and attended a management course at the St. Gallen School of Management in Switzerland.

Starting from 2007 he worked in Bolzano and Milan for the renowned tax and law firms Podini & Partners and Rödl & Partner. During this time, Plattner advised both local companies and international companies belonging to different sectors and with business activities in Italy in all tax matters.

He is specialized in the following areas: national and international tax law, commercial and corporate law, accounting and corporate finance.

Karl is member of several boards of directors and boards of statutory auditors.
